Matt Davidson


Matt Davidson was born in Austin, Texas, and spent his high school years on a family ranch in Dripping Springs, Texas, right outside of Austin in the beautiful Texas Hill Country.  After High School, Matt attended and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Arts in English and American Studies.  After a brief time of working in the financial industry, Matt attended Regent University School of Law in Virginia Beach, Virginia where he earned his Juris Doctorate.  After law school, Matt moved back to Texas and began practicing law in Fort Worth, focusing on Criminal Defense, Ticket Defense, and Family Law.  Matt and his brother James decided to establish Davidson Law, P.C. in 2014 in Fort Worth, Texas with a concentration on Criminal Defense, Ticket Defense, and Family Law.

Matt Davidson has become very accomplished in the arena of CDL Ticket Defense, and has been asked to speak at multiple Legal Seminars on Defending the Commercial Driver.  Matt was recognized by Fort Worth Magazine as a Top Attorney in 2015, and has been given multiple other awards including: Top 40 Under 40 by the National Trial Lawyers Association, 10 Best in Client Satisfaction by National Institute of Family Law Attorneys and Criminal Law Attorneys, Best Attorneys in America 2015, and the Nation’s Top One Percent by the National Association of Distinguished Counsel.  Matt has an AVVO rating of 10.0 and a 5 Star AVVO Client Rating.  In 2014 and 2015, Matt was named by AVVO as a Featured Attorney for Traffic Ticket Defense, Criminal Defense, and Family Law; he also received the AVVO Client Choice Award for Traffic Ticket Defense, Criminal Defense, and Family Law.

Matt is a member of the Tarrant County Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, the Tarrant County Family Law Bar Association, the Tarrant County Young Lawyers Association, the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, and the Group Legal Services Association of the American Bar Association.  Matt is the sitting President of the Traffic Lawyers of Texas and is a Director with the Traffic Lawyers of Tarrant County.

Matt enjoys spending time with his friends and family, especially his wife Brianna and son Hayden.  Matt is an avid sports and music fan, and enjoys any activity in the great outdoors.
